I’m Marcella Cooper, an experienced educator with over 20 years in teaching and leadership. Originally from Canada, my career has taken me across the globe—I have taught in Japan, China, and now Thailand, where I currently serve as the Head of Secondary at NIST International School in Bangkok.
My passion lies in literacy education, research-based teaching strategies, and lifelong learning. Throughout my career, I have worked to empower students and teachers by fostering a love for reading, critical thinking, and inquiry-driven learning. I believe that education is not just about academic success but about cultivating curiosity and preparing students for an ever-evolving world.
With a strong commitment to professional development and school leadership, I strive to support educators in refining their practice, implementing innovative teaching methodologies, and ensuring that learning remains a meaningful and transformative experience.
I look forward to connecting with fellow educators, sharing insights, and continuing the journey of lifelong learning together!
